The accompanying music video for "Human Behaviour" was directed by French director Michel Gondry, and this was the first time he and Björk collaborated. Björk talked about the video in an interview with Rolling Stone: "'Human Behaviour' is an animal's point of view on humans. And the animals are definitely supposed to win in the end.
The first version of the video is a virtual reality video which shows an avatar of Björk singing while surrounded by various strings and lights, eventually growing larger.
