The Daffodil Festival is an annual celebration in Gloucester County, Virginia. The festival takes place in early April to celebrate the heritage and community of the county of Gloucester, as well as its heritage of daffodils. Gloucester's historic production of daffodils led it to become named the "Daffodil Capital of America".

Chateau Morrisette Winery is a winery located in Floyd, Virginia. It was founded by David Morrisette in 1980, making it among the oldest wineries in Virginia. Containing 13 acres (5.3 ha) of land, the winery production has increased to approximately 60,000 cases per year. [1]
The first wine was released in 1988, and was called "Governor's White". This wine remains the winery's most popular. [ 6 ] The Williamsburg Winery produces approximately 65,000 cases of wine annually.
