Wikipedia in Italian doesn't say this (it just says 'scritta') and the Italian article on Cottrau says he composed both words and music for this famous song and translated it into Italian - but goes on to credit poet Baron Michele Zezza with the Neapolitan words and journalist Enrico Cossovich with the Italian translation!
