Open Your Eyes is the seventeenth studio album by the English rock band Yes, released in November 1997 by Eagle Records in the UK and by Beyond Music in the US. Following the 1996 revival of the 1970s "classic" line-up of Yes, the band's relationship with management had broken down and keyboardist Rick Wakeman had once again left the band.
On March 7, 2002, Open Your Eyes was announced for release in two months' time. "Open Your Eyes" was released to radio in late March. [1] In April and May 2002, the band toured the US and Canada with Sum 41. [2] Open Your Eyes was released on May 21, 2002, through Jive and Mojo Records.
Subsequent albums—Open Your Eyes (2002), Disconnection Notice (2005), and Hello Destiny... (2008)—did not fare as well, and the band temporarily ceased recording music, instead becoming an occasional touring act. [1] In 2017, they released their comeback album The Knife. In 2020, they released their eighth studio album, titled Never Look Back.
