JereKrischel is correct in the behavior of asian girls displacing and disportionally taking the open slots. What we see at Punahou is a smaller scale of what is happening to mainland colleges. Except that mainland colleges try to even things out, Punahou does not. Kindergarten has a ratio close to 60:40 female to male, or at least did in 2002.
