This list of tallest buildings in Ontario ranks skyscrapers and high rise buildings in the province of Ontario by height. Buildings in nine cities are included in this list; Hamilton, Kitchener, London, Markham, Mississauga, Niagara Falls, Ottawa, Toronto, and Windsor, each having buildings taller than 100 metres.
Hamilton Sundstrand was an American globally active corporation that manufactured and supported aerospace and industrial products for worldwide markets. A subsidiary of United Technologies Corporation, it was headquartered in Windsor Locks, Connecticut.
The second-tallest building in the city is Victoria Park Place Condominium, standing at 88.7 m (291 ft) tall with 31 storeys. As of 2011, the city has no structures under construction or proposed. Windsor Tower on 13 February 2005. The Windsor Tower (Spanish: Torre Windsor) was an office building in the financial center of Madrid, Spain.Built in 1979, it was 106 m (348 ft) high and had 32 floors of which 29 were above ground level and 3 below, thus ranking it as the eighth tallest building in Madrid (and 23rd in Spain).
The building operated as a cotton mill beginning in 1866 for nearly two decades, before returning to manufacturing machine tools in 1888. Ten years later the property was sold to the Windsor Electric Light Company, before being sold to the Central Vermont Public Service Company in 1926.
The City of Windsor designated the building as heritage under the Ontario Heritage Act in 2013. Some exterior features contributing to the heritage value are the bronze plaques identifying "Post Office" and "Customs and Excise", a stone band above the first floor with carved "Dominion Public Building" and "Post Office" along with Canadian Crests.
