Woodlands Park becomes a junction station for Marino line with the branch line to Tonsley Park. Some passenger trains worked to Tonsley during peak hours with one service during off-peak. The station got a modern upgrade in early 2024. During this time, Edwardstown was used as the junction station for the Seaford and Flinders lines. [2]

Johor Bahru Sentral station is located in the central area of Johor Bahru around Bukit Chagar. Being part of Southern Integrated Gateway, the connection between the CIQ complex and the station is just via the connecting walkway over Jalan Jim Quee to the east and is very near to Johor Causeway where the only train connection to Singapore lies straight to Woodlands Train Checkpoint.
Although the road is shown as "Meliden Road" on both maps of the era and modern maps the halt was named Rhuddlan Road. In the 1920s the substantial Woodland Park housing estate was built between the line and Prestatyn, utterly changing the character of the area. [5] The halt was renamed Woodland Park in 1923 to reflect this new market.
Edwardstown railway station once had a goods yard, where SteamRanger restored its centenary carriages when it was received from the State Transport Authority. It is of an island platform construction, with pedestrian access at the northern and southern ends and the railway tracks on either side to the east and west.
