Hudson's Bay (French: La Baie d'Hudson), also known as The Bay (French: La Baie), is a Canadian department store chain. It is the flagship brand of the Hudson's Bay Company (HBC), the oldest and longest-surviving company in North America as well as one of the oldest and largest continuously operating companies in the world.
The Hudson's Bay Company (HBC; French: Compagnie de la Baie d'Hudson) is a Canadian retail business group. A fur trading business for much of its existence, it became the largest and oldest corporation in Canada, before evolving into a major fashion retailer, operating retail stores across both the United States and Canada.
The stores at Burlington Centre include Hudson's Bay, Homesense, Old Navy and Winners. It has two floors, the upper floor covers the wing leading to the food court, the floor above the food court area, and the second floor of Hudson's Bay. The Hudson's Bay store gained national media attention in 2021 for its Zellers pop-up shop. [2]
It became the provincial flagship store of its successor, The Bay, in 1972 (rebranded to Hudson's Bay in 2013). The store is accessible to the Montreal Metro via McGill station, for which an entrance is located on Union Avenue.

Zellers was a Canadian discount store chain founded by Walter P. Zeller in 1931. It was acquired by the Hudson's Bay Company (HBC) in 1978, and after a series of acquisitions and expansions, peaked with 350 locations in 1999. [2]
