Delaware State Park is a 1,686-acre (682 ha) public recreation area on U.S. Route 23 near the city of Delaware in Delaware County, Ohio, in the United States. It is open for year-round recreation including camping, hiking, boating, hunting, fishing, and picnicking.
The Ufferman Site (also known as the A. Sawyer Site, [1] and designated 33DL12 [2]) is an archaeological site in the central part of the U.S. state of Ohio. Delaware is a city in and the county seat of Delaware County, Ohio, United States. [4] It is located near the center of Ohio, about 30 miles (48 km) north of Columbus as part of the Columbus metropolitan area. The population was 41,302 at the 2020 census. [5] Delaware was founded in 1808 and was incorporated in 1816.
The purpose, rather than to standardize state abbreviations per se, was to make room in a line of no more than 23 characters for the city, the state, and the ZIP code. [4] Since 1963, only one state abbreviation has changed.
