DreamWorks Water Park is an indoor water park within the American Dream shopping and entertainment complex, at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey, United States. Opened on October 1, 2020, [ 1 ] the water park includes 15 water slides and 15 attractions, and covers 8.5 acres (3.4 ha).
The deal was officially announced on May 3, 2011. Among the changes to the project would an expansion to 3 million square feet, an 8.5-acre indoor glass-domed amusement park, water parks, and an ice skating rink. In 1985 an indoor water park was open in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada at the West Edmonton Mall. [ 5 ] [ 6 ] It is called the World Waterpark and is over 200,000 sq ft (19,000 m 2 ). It was a success for the mall and remains as one of the largest indoor water parks in the world.
