Phillip David Lewis (born February 14, 1968) is an American actor, comedian, and director. He is best known for playing hotel manager Mr. Moseby on the Disney Channel series The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and its spin-off, The Suite Life on Deck.
However, Mr. Moseby claims that Patrick wrecked it by crashing into fellow waiter Rich, and when the ambulance showed up, another waiter Gary got hit by the ambulance, leaving Mr. Moseby to take Patrick's place at the Tipton Restaurant. His favourite musical is Bye Bye Birdie as revealed in "Birdman of Boston".
After Mr. Moseby tells them of an encounter he had with the ghost, Zack later dares Cody to spend a night at the suite. They (Cody, Zack, London, Maddie and Esteban) try to talk to the spirit, getting Esteban possessed and making him, Cody, Maddie, and London disappear. It is then revealed to be a practical joke for Zack.
Mr. Moseby's niece, Nia replaces Maddie in the hotel candy-counter and becomes friends with Zack, Cody and London. Once summer is over, Zack, Cody, London (who was expelled from Our Lady of Perpetual Sorrow Catholic School for skipping school), Nia, Barbara, Bob and Mark join Cheevers High School and end up getting in trouble on the first day.
The series is on a cruise ship with Zack, Cody, and London attending a semester-at-sea program, while Mr. Moseby manages the ship. Dylan and Cole Sprouse, Brenda Song, and Phill Lewis returned to reprise their roles in the main cast. [ 26 ]
Many years in the future, Zack's desecendant, Zirk, pulls a prank on a race of alien beings while aboard a starship, which causes destructive retaliation, causing a Moseby robot to be sent back to destroy Zack, prompting Zack, Cody, London, Bailey, Marcus, and Mr. Moseby to travel to the future to stop Zirk from pranking the aliens.

Mr. Moseby receives information that a food critic called Bernard Burnaise is coming to the Tipton to try out the food. He is told that Burnaise has three different disguises: A middle-aged woman, a Chinese man with a long beard, and a cowboy. Mr. Moseby then hires Zack and Cody to sneak around the hotel and find out who exactly is Burnaise.
