Eric Racine (March 26, 1976) FCAHS, is the Director of the Pragmatic Health Ethics Research Unit based at the Montreal Clinical Research Institute, a research professor at the Université de Montréal and the Montreal Clinical Research Institute, and an adjunct professor in the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery at McGill University.
Born in Montreal, Quebec, he received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Collège Stanislas and his medical degree from the Université de Montréal. He was the director of the neurobiology department at the Institut de recherches cliniques de Montréal (Montreal Clinical Research Institute), affiliated with the Université de Montréal .
In 1967, Chrétien opened a laboratory on polypeptide hormones at the Clinical Research Institute of Montreal (CRIM), where he would remain until 1999.
