Radiant is an anime series based on the French comic book series of the same name written and illustrated by Tony Valente. The series is directed by Seiji Kishi and Daisei Fukuoka, and written by Makoto Uezu, with animation by studio Lerche. Radiant is a French comic book series written and illustrated by Tony Valente. It has been published by Ankama since 2013 and has 19 volumes released in French as of November 2024. It was later published by the Japanese publisher Euromanga and Asukashinsha in 2015, making it the first manfra to be published in Japan.
Wakanim was founded on 27 February 2009 after YouTube appeared in France in 2007, [1] and broadcast its first series in October 2010, The World God Only Knows. [3] The aim was to launch simultaneous broadcasting of animated series with Japan, as the French market of the Japanese animation [4] [5] did not yet have an adapted legal offer and that it suffered from piracy ().
