Masashi Kishimoto (岸本 斉史, Kishimoto Masashi, born November 8, 1974 [1]) is a Japanese manga artist.His manga series, Naruto, which was in serialization from 1999 to 2014, has sold over 250 million copies worldwide in 46 countries as of May 2019.
The series focuses on titular hero and protagonist named Naruto Uzumaki, a ninja from the Hidden Leaf Village with supernatural ninjutsu abilities, who is the host of Nine Tailed Fox and dreams to become Hokage in order to receive respect from the villagers and to protect them from any upcoming threats.
