I would like to apply WinterGuard Fall Weed & Feed around thanksgiving. Will it kill young grass? By the time, I should mow new grass at least three times. Too much weed, every fall after overseeding, lawn looks much better, it looks ok till next summer, then weed grows like crazy and grass die.

AFAIK, the Winterguard is mostly Nitrogen, whereas the Weed and Feed is Nitrogen plus weed killer. So not too much a difference. I applied yesterday am. I will report back since, oddly enough, I could not find a similar thread to this one across the entire interweb. Thanks for the advice guys.
One more question; people have commented that Scotts can get expensive, but given that (for example) a 15,000 sq foot bag of fall/winter fertilizer is on sale for $45, vs. Milorganite which is about $90 for the quantity I need, or $75 for an organic fall fertilizer from a local garden center ($26/bag x 3 bags), or $35 for their 'regular ...
Yes but I've had to use Winterguard in November because Milogranite has been in short or no supply.
I just applied a Scott's granular fertilizer product (not a weed and feed, just fertilizer), and it says you don't need to apply just before rain, as it is slow release and will not burn the lawn. Still fixing spots. I’ve been trying Pennington seeds the last couple years with good results. They have a regional seed for the Northeast I’m using to over seed, and I’ve been using their Smartpatch for the few bare spots I have.
