Val Verde County is a county located on the southern Edwards Plateau in the U.S. state of Texas. The 2020 population is 47,586. [1] Its county seat is Del Rio. Juno was a small unincorporated community in Val Verde County, Texas, United States, in the southwestern part of the state. Its last business closed in 1984, and the only remnant of Juno now is a lone ranch. What remains of the village was, by 2013, situated on private ranch land.
Val Verde has a civic association of volunteers, the Val Verde Civic Association (VVCA), which is the liaison between the LA County 5th District Supervisor, community leaders and the residents.
