Far is the fifth studio album by American alternative singer-songwriter Regina Spektor. It was released in Europe on June 22, 2009, and in North America on June 23, 2009, through Sire Records . [ 1 ]
Regina made her Saturday Night Live debut on October 10, 2009, performing "Eet" and "The Calculation" off of Far. In May 2010, Spektor performed for Barack and Michelle Obama along with hundreds of other guests at the White House reception in honor of Jewish American Heritage Month .
Unlike the 2002 version, which featured only Spektor and the piano, the 2012 one also includes a drum machine, horns and brass instruments.
