10 Years is an American alternative metal band formed in Knoxville, Tennessee in 1999. The band consists of lead vocalist Jesse Hasek, lead guitarist Brian Vodinh, rhythm guitarist Matt Wantland, bassist Chad Grennor, and drummer Luke Narey.
The original Ten Years After reunited in 1983 to play the Reading Festival, [10] and this performance was later released on CD as The Friday Rock Show Sessions – Live at Reading '83. In 1988, the members reunited for a few concerts and recorded the album About Time (1989) with producer Terry Manning in Memphis.

The Autumn Effect is the third studio album and major label debut by American alternative metal band 10 Years. It was released on July 22, 2005, by Republic and Universal Records. Featured on the album is the popular modern rock track "Wasteland" and two other singles: "Through the Iris" and "Waking Up".
The band began on work on the album in 2019, deciding to work with music producer Howard Benson. [1] The band had previously worked with Benson on 2010's Feeding the Wolves, but wished to try it again, feeling that issues between band members and their record label at the time kept them from reaching their potential with working with Benson the first time around.
