my glasses are nearing the end. the paint is all worn off, the lens are scratched, and recently, possibly due to the heat, green gunk has been oozing out from where the lens attach to the frame and has been staining my skin green! I've had these glasses for years (3-5) but just never really had the money to get them replaced.

OK, so I order a cheap pair of blue-blocker-glasses. But as I am waiting for them to arrive, I read a lot a very negative comments about the effectiveness of BB-glasses. Not really any actual reviews about how well BB-glasses worked for an actual person.....more like academics giving a scientific POV about how and why they are worthless.

Years ago, I had a college buddy who went into advertising and was with a big Madison ad firm and martinis had become his thing, I think as part of the job culture - I was up visiting him and he told the bartender "Make it very dry", and that's exactly what the guy did - he swirled the vermouth around the glass and then dumped it, and then filled the glass with gin .

Milk jugs can be filled with water and drug along the ground with a rope tied to the handle. The person pulling the rope stands BEHIND the shooter. Ballons can be tied to RC cars and driven around in front of your backstop. Both are a good cheap way to practice hitting moving targets.

No sales tax for now. Exactly, the only thing different is the job. The FL company is very busy and hiring, the one here is downsizing. Both are multinationals. He has had several interviews here also, but no reasonable offer. Looks like companies are trying to get new people for cheap, preying on people's need.

Goodwill will be packed with Halloween costumes and accessories starting soon. Cheap, so you can throw it away afterward. One year, I was invited to a last-minute Halloween party and I took an old slip and wrote psychological terms all over it (id, ego, neurotic, psychotic, etc). I was a "Freudian Slip".

Either way it's cheap insurance to help protect it. Once it does get scratches or swirls on it from cleaning off fingerprints, there's no easy or cheap way to undo the damage. The screen in my new Honda CRV appears to be some type of cheap plastic that would probably scratch easily if given the chance.
