The Evil Within is my absolute favorite game ever, and I’ve really been struggling with writing ideas, so I’ve started a TEW writing project, and I just wanted to share. I essentially want to write TEW 1 as a novel. I’ll be following the game, and writing it as if it’s a book.

  3. Is the evil within worth playing? : r/HorrorGaming - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/HorrorGaming/comments/rqit5h/is_the_evil_within_worth_playing

The Evil Within is a good "gore" horror game... it follows the current trend where the game developers think if you slap some supernatural-esq elements into a game and then slather it with gore... then you can call it a horror game... and go about your day.

The Evil Within 1. Both had great horror but the horror in The Evil Within 1 tops Resident Evil 4 in my opinion. It felt like the horror in Resident Evil 4 slightly disappears after the Krauser fight on the island while the horror in The Evil Within 1 was consistent. Better Story: Resident Evil 4.

Hey. I’m replaying like every Halloween month silent hill resident evil Bloodborne and evil within. Atm I’m at evil within and I wanna try something new. I wanna see what you people upgrade first and most. What you recommend and play based on that. Are you upgrading the crossbow? Which weapons do you upgrade?

  6. The evil within is unplayable any fixes ? : r/ROGAlly - Reddit

Honestly The Evil Within 1 is one of the worst PC ports I have ever had the pleasure of attempting to play in my life. Tried everything in the book and am now convinced the only way to enjoy the game is waiting for a remake or something lol.

  7. The Evil Within vs. The Evil Within 2 : r/theevilwithin - Reddit

Evil Within 2 does it's own thing, and it's really good with open exploration, but it doesn't feel at all like the first game and although people came away satisfied, a lot of them didn't get what they were expecting.

Now to my question. My default was to play casual on Evil Within 1 (and 2 when I get to it) which I got on sale recently. I Googled the difficulties and saw that on casual you don't have to worry about burning the bodies (which I'm going to assume is something similar to RE1. Not played it yet but I'm aware of the crimson heads).

So i purchased Evil Within when it was on sale. But when I tried playing it, it was in Chinese! It didn't say on the store whether it was English or Chinese. Any chance I can change the language? Please help! It also says it should support English. But i dont know how to navigate since everything is in Chinese and i dont understand a thing.

  10. The Evil Within - Overall a surprisingly good game

    www.reddit.com/r/patientgamers/comments/p38a56/the_evil_within_overall_a...

For me The Evil Within 1 is a true masterpiece. A wonderful action-stealth-horror game. The atmosphere was great and the enemy design was terrific. It's so original that I can hardly see a decent sequel to it. The Evil Within 2 while being a very good game lacks everything that made the first one so special.
