The Brute is the most dangerous enemy in Amnesia:The Dark Descent. Slightly faster than the player, the Brute will eventually outrun you if chased down a long, straight hallway. They are much rarer than the Grunts, and only pose any threat in levels past the Morgue.

Custom stories are fan-made maps for Amnesia: The Dark Descent. They usually use the normal Amnesia textures, monsters, and lantern model, but good custom stories will use custom textures, custom monster models, and even custom lantern models (candle, flashlight, ect.) WARNING: Not for the faint of heart.
This achievement requires you to beat The Dark Descent on Hard Mode. Hard mode differs from the normal game in the following ways: - Autosaves are disabled, and manual saving costs 4 tinderboxes. - Sanity dropping to zero results in death. - Less oil and tinderboxes throughout the levels.
Dark Case is a very interesting hybrid of Amnesia The Dark Descent, Penumbra Black Plague, and Half-Life 1, combining story and gameplay elements from all of the above (there's no HL action, sorry FPS fans.) It is not a total conversion mod, thus allowing easy playability for Mac users.

In the Sewers there will be an idle Brute that you have to distract and that will not unrender. The Brutes in the Choir don't disappear, they always patrol that huge dark area (which imo is the most difficult part of the game) and there will be a scripted event in the Chancel where you're getting knocked-out by them.
