Bonanza City is a ghost town, located 13 miles (21 km) southwest of Santa Fe in Santa Fe County, New Mexico, United States. [1] The town was founded in 1880 as a mining town, following the discovery of gold and silver in the nearby Cerrillos Hills.
The monument is on the Trail of the Ancients Scenic Byway, one of New Mexico's Scenic Byways. [7] The property was part of a 160-acre (65 ha) homestead owned by H.D. Laguna is a census-designated place (CDP) on the Laguna Pueblo in Cibola County, New Mexico, United States. The population was 1,241 at the 2010 census.
