4. Posted April 19, 2013. Figured it out - I was looking in the wrong place. Press f7, then in left pane, expand Torrents, expand Labels, select labels and the new torrents display in the main pane. Select torrent in main window pane and then select Start.
5. Posted June 10, 2013. I'm trying to download bittorrent software onto my laptop. I click on download (Free version) it thinks for a couple of seconds and stops. doesn't give you the option to save or run program. If you click on the "click here" if your download doesn't start... It does the same thing.
I've been trying to download torrents but just doesn't work. Ive downloaded many in the past, Has been working perfectly fine for 6 months something wrong right now. I've tried downloading a torrent with many seeds eg. 3 days to kill still doesnt work. tracker shows that connection is timed out however internet works perfectly fine
When I tried another download to the same location I was able to download it to before, it wouldn't let me, but I was able to find another location and download it. When I right clicked -- I am a leftie when I use my mouse -- and told it to Run as an Administrator, it told me I didn't have permission and then the downloaded exe file disappeared.

Bit Torrent 7.2 brand new install on new OS. Did download 2 small files but any large files, the prog comes back and says that the file was in use and BitTorrent is unable to continue and marks it with a red X. Unable to resume the DL even after logging off and restarting program.
All torrent files were gone. I was able to reload most of them, but many were gone forever. It took hours to repair. The most frustrating aspect was that most of the torrent files that were lost were ones that I was seeding; I had to go back to torrent sites, reload the torrent file and relocate every file.
On utorrent's page that shows up whenever I download, I clicked on "options" in the top left hand corner of my free version, then from the drop down menu I clicked on "preferences". From here I could see a box that read, "Global Download Rate Limiting". It reads (maximum download rate kB/s (0 = unlimited)). Mine was set at unlimited, ie 0.
