I am currently considering the Weaver 6 hole picatinny rings, but would like to know if there's a better choice due to the recoil. I'm also considering the Weaver Quad rings. A set of Vortex Hunter model rings came with the scope, but Vortex does not recommend using these for the 450 Bushmaster. I've seen a lot of rings anywhere from $12 to ...
I like the idea of a magazine with a snugger fit for my rounds, over the inch-extra space they have in the 308-compatible stock .450 bushmaster Ruger American Ranch magazine. If Bushmaster is mil spec you can use Lancer magazines for 458 socom.

Ruger 77 in 450 BM is the best action for that caliber a straight wall its the only gun that has the ...
The guy had a brand new limited run Ruger Hawkeye in 450 Bushmaster in left hand. Apparently his shop worked with ruger to get these made when straight wall cartridges became legal to hunt with here in Michigan. Supposedly they had 8 or 9 hundred produced in right hand modles and only 90 made in left hand. I figured that even though it would be ...

Suppressors develop a lot of heat (sound energy converter plus the tempers of the escaping gasses) and the way the suppressor deals with that heat can make all the difference. Most of the less expensive and suppressors designed for hunting are designed for a few shots before having to be allowed to cool. Even if it says semi-auto rated, check ...

For most bottle neck cartridge deer rifles, this covers a range from the muzzle out to 230 yards +or-. The kill zone on a deer is about an 8" circle so +or- 4" is your limit. Using Mark204's ballistic chart, your 450 should be good from the muzzle out to 150 yards with a 50 yard zero and still stay within the 8" channel.
It's in .450 Bushmaster. My suppressor is multi caliber, but the end caps have different thread diameters based on barrel diameter. .223/.355 were the ones I had before, but the .450 was a bit larger. I don't have them memorized but they generally run in 3 thread sizes. 22, 30 and 45 thereabouts.
450 bushmaster magazine malfunction. Looking for some ideas here, just sighted in my ruger American 450 bushmaster go wild camo edition. While I was able to sight it in effectively, with every single shot I took, the bottom of the clip would fly apart and my remaining shells would go everywhere.
