Warlords in HD1 are up-armored Hulks with an Autocannon instead of a chaingun or flamethrower. It’d make sense for Warlords to look quite similar to Hulks. For the Devestators, they are pretty much a completely new enemy, unique to HD2, aside from the Heavy/Shield Devestator, which has the same loadout as HD1 Hulks.
Can we get the Cyborg units of HD1 to reinforce the Automaton force in HD2? FEEDBACK/SUGGESTION. It would be awesome to see how the Cyborg units from HD1 would look like in HD2. Cyborg Initiates, Squad Leaders and Hulks. Half-Human Cyborgs together with the Automaton robots vs. the Super Earth's Finest.
I changed the cable input from ColorStream HD1 to 2. (Component video) Same result. But when I use S-Video the screen is fine just stuck in 4:3 and the screen is so small so I would much prefer component Just looking for some advice cause this was my favorite setup and I'd really like to try to fix it if I can. While most adaptations of HD1 to HD2 is good. There are some adaptations that doesnt make sense like: Assisted Reload- assisted reload wherein the weapon is with helldiver A and the backpack is with Helldiver B makes sense in HD1 considering you are in 1 screen and therefore will not be far away with each other. In HD2, this does not makes sense.
Alien general: And then we'll tell the humans where they are, so they can protect them, and us too by the way! We'll keep them hidden, so they won't leave us to our deaths as soon as they know it. Nobody will breach our defences, and us will be safe! And the humans will have to join our side in the war! You're a genius!

I understand there's meant to be a narrative in how the war progresses and how it shapes the map. But i cant help but feel disillusioned seeing 16-24k people on a bug planet and it not gaining any progress. at all. I'm only pointing one finger and it's at AH. In HD1 bugs were always defeated first. and then we promptly lost the war because ...
Maybe placing markers on the mini-map like in HD1, to even quick comms like ping that you see in many modern FPS/TPS games. Or maybe it indicates that in HD2, your team can split up and to complete different objectives across the map.
Honestly, I'm just gonna recommend HD1 to anybody that has this problem. HD2 loses so much charm by having these logistics systems, HD1 doesn't have any of that shit; you pick a race, pick a planet/difficulty, and go. You don't have to consider cutting off or maintaining supply lines, you just go kill aliens and traitors.
