The part-silver 1972-S Eisenhower dollars were available for sale by mail order, with the ordering period from May 1 to July 15 for the proof coins and August 1 to October 16 for the uncirculated version. In 1975 and 1976, the Eisenhower dollar was issued for circulation, among other commemorative coins in those years. The Susan B. Anthony dollar was minted from 1979 to 1981, and then again in 1999. The Dolley Madison silver dollar was available to buy in 1999, made to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Dolley Madison’s death. [18]
