Taylor served on the Pine Bluff City Council and as mayor of Pine Bluff. From 2001 to 2005, Taylor served in the Arkansas House of Representatives and was a Democrat. Taylor then served in the Arkansas State Senate from 2005 to 2013 and was the assistant president pro tempore. Taylor died in Benton, Arkansas. [1] [2]
Lee Johnson is an American politician who has served as a member of the Arkansas House of Representatives since January 2019. He currently represents Arkansas' 47th House district. He has also worked on the Greenwood city council.

The city has operated under the mayor-council form of government since it was founded. The city currently elects 11 positions: mayor, city clerk, city attorney, and eight council member positions. The eight council members are represented by two members from each of the city's four wards. The council members are Ward 1: Greg Wiedower, Benny Baker.
