Daryl Allan Katz (/ k æ t s /; born May 31, 1961) is a Canadian billionaire businessman. Katz is the founder and chairman of the Katz Group of Companies , one of Canada's largest privately owned enterprises, with pharmacy, sports & entertainment, and real estate development businesses.
In 1948, [1] Gouin married Carol Kostelic, an ethnic Slovenian [5] immigrant from Yugoslavia. [1] They had two sons, Roger Gouin and Martin Gouin, and three daughters, Elaine Busch, Renee Katz and Colette Gouin. [1] His daughter Renee is married to Canadian billionaire and Edmonton Oilers owner, Daryl Katz. [6] Gouin died on November 11, 2007. [1]
