Yesterday I walked from the top of the Kosciuszko Express chair lift at Thredbo to the summit of Mt. Kosciuszko. I assure you once you walk around/past the Eagles Nest building situated at the top of the lift, you can no longer see the village at any stage along the track that heads to the summit.
