HC Slavia Praha (eng: HC Slavia Prague) is a Czech professional ice hockey team located in Prague playing in the Czech 1st National Hockey League, the second-highest league in the country. Slavia played in the Czech Extraliga from 1994 until 2015, winning the national championship in 2003 and 2008.

SK Horácká Slavia Třebíč is an ice hockey team in Třebíč, Czech Republic. They play in the Czech 1.liga, the second level of ice hockey in the country. The club was created in 1928. [1] Some notable NHL players were born in Třebíč and started their hockey career in this club: Patrik Eliáš, Martin Erat and Vladimír Sobotka.
Slavia won the national championship on home ice in Game 7 of the 2008 Extraliga finals against HC Karlovy Vary 4–0 in front of a then-league-record crowd of 17,117. For two seasons, 2012–13 and 2013–14, O2 Arena also hosted occasional home games of HC Lev Prague of the Kontinental Hockey League .
Slavia successfully defended their domestic title, winning the Czech First League for the sixth time, whilst in the Czech Cup they were knocked out in the Fourth Round by Baník Ostrava. In the UEFA Champions League , Slavia finished bottom of their group, which included Internazionale , Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona , with 2 points.

The 2008–09 Elite Women's Hockey League season was the fifth season of the Elite Women's Hockey League (EWHL), a multi-national women's ice hockey league. HC Slavia Praha of the Czech Republic won the league title for the second consecutive season before announcing its withdrawal from following year's competition for financial reasons.
