Harvey's Brewery is a brewery in Lewes, East Sussex, England. Harvey's estate includes 45 tied houses, mostly in Sussex, and three in London: Royal Oak, Southwark, The Cat's Back, Wandsworth and The Phoenix, Stockwell. It sells and distributes its main product, Sussex Best Bitter, to other pubs, off-licences and social clubs in south east England.
Laughton Place is a historic building near Lewes, Sussex owned by the Landmark Trust. The Pelham family bought Laughton Place, an old fortified manor, in 1466; it was rebuilt in 1534 by William Pelham. Laughton Tower was restored under the supervision of architect John Warren in the 1980s.
In 1780, Clarke Cooke, a wealthy Newport sea captain built the house nearby on Thames Street, opposite what is now the Blues Cafe, before eventually moving from Thames Street as it commercialized. In the 1970s David W. Ray purchased the building and moved it over a sixth month period in 1973 to Bannister's Wharf.
Newport's Van Bueren family donated money to the private Preservation Society of Newport to restore the building in 1952, after years of neglect as a boarding house. Mo's Restaurants is an American restaurant chain located on the Oregon Coast and headquartered in Newport, Oregon. Mo's are named after their original owner Mohava "Mo" Niemi, who was once described as "the stuff of legend in Newport".

The building housing the restaurant was formerly a branch of the Bank of America, whose former logo can be seen embedded in the corner of the building. Newport Creamery began with Samuel Rector's Newport, Rhode Island dairy business in 1928. [1] Rector began as a wholesaler and started home delivery in 1932. In 1940, Rector and his son opened their first restaurant in nearby Middletown, where the company is still headquartered.
