The Northern Michigan Soccer League is a high school boys and girls soccer league located in northern lower Michigan. The league is made up of Division 3 and 4 member high schools. There are 12 members schools that are split into an east and west division. [1] The league is a member of the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA).
Michigan maintained its standing nationally in high school sports participation statistics for the 2018–19 school year, according to the National Federation of State High School Associations. The total for the 2018–19 year was 281,992, with 120,378 girls and 161,614 boys taking part.
During her junior year, Ohba amassed second-team All-Southeastern Conference honors, as well as a third-team United Soccer Coaches All-Southeast region honors, and was a three-time Conference Player of the Week.
