Lake Iseo or Iseo lake (US: / iː ˈ z eɪ oʊ / ee-ZAY-oh; [1] Italian: Lago d'Iseo Italian pronunciation: [ˈlaːɡo diˈzɛːo]; Eastern Lombard: Lach d'Izé), also known as Sebino (Italian:; Latin: Sebinus), is the fourth largest lake in Lombardy, Italy, fed by the Oglio River.

[2] It is located on the islands Montisola (the major island, from which it takes the name), Loreto and San Paolo in Lake Iseo and, as of 2015, its population is 1,770. Iseo (Brescian: Izé) is a town and comune in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy, Italy, on the south shore of Lake Iseo. It is bounded by the communes of Provaglio d'Iseo, Sulzano, Polaveno and Paratico. It has the first monument ever built of Giuseppe Garibaldi, erected in 1883. [3]
