This light is used to mark the southern entrance to Barkley Sound. It is a square pyrimidal tower made of steel. This skeletal structure has a square cylinder in the center. There is a lantern and gallery, both painted red. Three sides have a white, slatted daymark. This light is staffed and consists of a number of buildings, all with red roofs.
