Bekas (Sorani Kurdish: بێکەس) is a 2012 Kurdish-language comedy-drama film written and directed by Karzan Kader. The film stars Zamand Taha and Sarwar Fazil. Shot in Iraq, Bekas is an international co-production between Finland, Iraq and Sweden. [2]

A Time for Drunken Horses (Kurdish: Dema hespên serxweş; [1] [2] Persian: زمانی برای مستی اسبها, Zamāni barāy-e masti-e asbhā) is a 2000 Kurdish language drama film directed by Bahman Ghobadi and produced in Iran. It was a co-winner of the Caméra d'Or award at the Cannes Film Festival in 2000. [3]
