The 2024 FIU Panthers football team represented Florida International University in Conference USA (C-USA) during the 2024 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Panthers were led by Mike MacIntyre in his third year as the head coach. The Panthers played their home games at Pitbull Stadium, located in Miami, Florida. [1]

George Michael MacIntyre (born March 14, 1965) is an American football coach. He was the head coach at FIU from 2022–2024. MacIntyre previously served as the head football coach at San Jose State from 2010 to 2012 and at Colorado from 2013 to 2018. MacIntyre began his coaching career in 1990 as a graduate assistant at Georgia.
FIU's softball team competes in Conference USA after previously being a member of the Atlantic Sun Conference in 1998, Independent from 1999 to 2000, and of the Sun Belt Conference from 2001 through 2012.
