The Indian School (Arabic: المدرسة الهندية) is a CBSE–affiliated community school in Bahrain. Founded by three Indian women as an elementary school for the children of Indian nationals in Bahrain , it is currently one of the largest co-ed schools in the Persian Gulf region. [ 1 ]

The school has a self-contained campus consisting of pre-school, primary, middle and high schools, administration, library, and cafeteria. It has a gymnasium/multi-purpose building, Mohammed Al Zamil Hall, which was built in 2001 and contains a 600-seat theater, two full-size basketball courts, two squash courts, an aerobic dance studio, weight training and fitness center.
As for Bahrain Polytechnic's campus in Isa Town, Bahrain's Ministry of Works is leading a campus master plan project [5] in which the current campus's buildings will be replaced with a modern state-of-art campus. The target budget for the whole scope of the project including the consultants’ fees is approximately US$250 million.
