Velodyne Marine debuted its first self-stabilizing craft, the Martini, at the 2013 Miami boat show. This prototype was the world's first sea-faring vessel with an active suspension. From 1990 until the early 2010s, Bose sold several 2.1 channel audio systems. The systems used two small satellite speakers and a subwoofer. Early versions of the systems used an in-built CD player, followed by a DVD player. Later versions were AV receivers that used external audio sources.

Mid-range speakers: These speakers are designed to reproduce mid-range frequencies, such as vocals and instruments like guitars and pianos.
The horn-loaded subwoofers each have a floor mouth that is 2.2 square meters (24 sq ft), and a horn length that is 9.5 meters (31 ft), in a cavity 1 meter (3 ft 3 in) under the floor of the listening room. Each subwoofer is driven by eight 18-inch subwoofer drivers with 100 millimeters (3.9 in) voice coils.
