The Diocese of Sioux City (Latin: Diœcesis Siopolitanensis) is the Latin Church diocese for the northwestern quarter of the state of Iowa in the United States. It is a suffragan see of the Archdiocese of Dubuque. The cathedral parish for this diocese is the Epiphany and the see city is Sioux City.
The church building measures 160 by 80 feet (49 by 24 m) with a 162.5-foot (49.5 m) tower over the front Gable. At the time it was built, St. Boniface Church was the tallest structure in Sioux City. [2] The exterior is clad with brick from Buffalo, New York and the trim is in Bedford limestone.

The reredos in the apse, the side altars, and Stations of the Cross are from the former St. Thomas Church in Emmetsburg, Iowa. It closed while work was underway during the 1990s renovation and the items were donated to the cathedral as they are similar in style to those same items removed from the cathedral in 1961. [ 1 ]
St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Cedar, also known as Cedar Catholic Church, is a historic building located west of Churdan, Iowa, United States. It is a former parish church of the Diocese of Sioux City. The church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992. It has been reduced in status to an oratory.
