The Richmond RiverRats were a collegiate summer baseball team based in Richmond, Indiana. They were a member of the summer collegiate Prospect League from their founding in 2009 until their last season in 2015. [1] The RiverRats played at the 1,787-seat Don McBride Stadium.

The Evansville River Rats were a professional minor league baseball team based in Evansville, Indiana. They played from 1901 to 1902 in the Illinois–Indiana–Iowa League (the "Three-I" League) and from 1903 to 1910 and 1914 to 1915 in the Central League .
The Illinois–Indiana–Iowa League was a low-level Minor League Baseball organization that operated for the better part of 60 seasons, with teams based in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska and Wisconsin. The league began play in 1901 and disbanded after the 1961 season.
The River Rats were one of the inaugural teams of the FCSL. The team won the FCSL championship in the league's inaugural 2004 season and was the runner-up in the following 2005 season. After that, the team went into a bit of a slide, finishing fifth in 2006, fifth in 2007, and sixth in 2008.
