Edgewood is located in southwestern Harford County. It is bordered to the west by Baltimore County, Joppatowne, to the north by Bel Air South, to the east by the Bush River, an arm of Chesapeake Bay, to the south by the Edgewood Arsenal portion of Aberdeen Proving Ground, and to the southwest by the tidal Gunpowder River, another arm of the Chesapeake.
She was born on 7 August 1866 in Dundee, Scotland, as Anna Thompson. Her obituary in The New York Times lists her age as 103. Her parents were William Thompson and Elizabeth Stevens. In 1896, she married Horace Elgin Dodge Sr., of Dodge Brothers Company. The couple had a son, Horace Elgin Dodge Jr., and a daughter, Delphine Dodge.
Gambrill House, also known as Boscobel House and Edgewood, is a house near Frederick, Maryland in the Monocacy National Battlefield. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. [1] The house is associated with James Gambrill, owner of nearby Araby Mill and the Frederick City Mill.
