The NHL Record Book, as well as the Montreal Canadiens article, lists Babe Siebert as a coach, even though he died before coaching a game. Since he was officially appointed as a coach, and is recognised as such, he should be included, with a note mentioning he drowned prior to coaching a game, similar to what the Record Book does.
