County Route 55 is a short county road in Suffolk County, New York, located in and around Eastport known as Eastport–Manor Road, and sometimes Eastport–Manorville Road. It runs north and south from CR 80 ( Montauk Highway , formerly NY 27A ) to CR 51 north of Eastport .

County Route 17 is a 5.53-mile (8.90 km) county road located in western Suffolk County. The route runs south-to-north from NY 27A in East Islip to NY 111 in Hauppauge, just south of exit 56 on I-495 (the Long Island Expressway). Originally, CR 17 was an alignment of NY 111 (designated as State Highway 1208 internally).
CR 100 (Suffolk Avenue) was planned as a Central Suffolk Highway, part of a proposed reconnection of the two segments of NY 24. Only the portion between CR 13 and NY 454 exists to this day. CR 101 (Sills Road Extension) was to be given to two extensions north of exit 66 on the Long Island Expressway.
On June 9, 1965, the extension of the Northern State to Veterans Memorial Highway in Hauppauge opened to traffic, with the parkway's new eastern terminus being just northwest of the then-new Suffolk County government and police headquarters. The project cost $4 million and removed the automatic turns to the Sunken Meadow and Sagtikos.

Most routes west of Port Jefferson and Patchogue are scheduled with 30 minute headways (60 minutes on routes 3, 10 and 15) during weekdays until at least 6:00 p.m. On all routes from Port Jefferson and Patchogue and to the east, including the north-south routes between those two terminals, there are 60-minute headways (except for 30-minute headways on routes 51 and 66).
