A luxury apartment tower, the VUE is the tallest residential building in the state. The leasing center for The Vue is located at the corner of 5th Street and W. Pine.

An inflatable version of Luce at Lucca Comics & Games 2024. Luce was unveiled by Archbishop Rino Fisichella of the Dicastery for Evangelization on October 28, 2024, as the official mascot of the 2025 Jubilee. He said that Luce was inspired by the Catholic Church's desire "to live even within the pop culture so beloved by our youth". [3]
The complex first opened in 2006 as the NC Music Factory. Developer ARK Group wanted to build a Charlotte version of New York City's SoHo, and intended it as the first stage of an entertainment, office and residential district.
