Wyoming County is a county in the U.S. state of New York in the state's western area. As of the 2020 census, the population was 40,531. [2] The county seat is Warsaw. [3] The name is modified from a Lenape (Delaware) Native American word meaning "broad bottom lands".

Monument Circle Historic District is a national historic district located at Warsaw in Wyoming County, New York. The district consists of 18 acres (73,000 m 2) and includes a broad range of architecturally significant resources. It encompasses 21 late 19th and early 20th century civic, religious, and domestic properties.

Gainesville is an incorporated town in Wyoming County, New York. The population was 2,333 at the 2000 census. The town is named after General Edmund P. Gaines. The Town of Gainesville is on the eastern border of the county. Gainesville is also the name of a village in the town.
The Town of Pike was founded in 1818 from a division of the Town of Nunda (now part of Livingston County, New York). In 1823, part of Pike was taken to form the new Town of Eagle. More of Pike was taken to form part of the Town of Genesee Falls in 1846.
