It featured Crusader Rabbit, his companion Ragland T. Tiger ("Rags"), and their occasional nemeses – Dudley Nightshade (whose name was a play on the poisonous plant "deadly nightshade") and Whetstone Whiplash with his sidekick, Bilious Green.
