[2] Gilligan's Island ran for 98 episodes. All 36 episodes of the first season were filmed in black and white and were later colorized for syndication. The show's second and third seasons (62 episodes) and the three television film sequels (broadcast between 1978 and 1982) were filmed in color.

Gilligan dreams that the castaways are 50 years older. The castaways are preparing for a party celebrating 50 years on the island. Just as the storm hits, Gilligan wakes up and gets the rod in place. Lightning hits it and the meteor is destroyed. Note: This episode uses the ending theme of Season 1 by The Wellingtons.
