The New England Black Wolves were a professional box lacrosse team based in Uncasville, Connecticut.They were members of the East Division of the National Lacrosse League and began play in the winter of 2014–2015 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville. [1]
Previously dispersed players were recalled and the St. Margaret's Bay Rebels began operation, restoring the league to six teams. The 2020 season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. From 2019 to 2021, the IBLA served as an official partner of the National Lacrosse League (NLL), operating as a minor developmental funnel.
