3003 aluminium alloy is an alloy in the wrought aluminium-manganese family (3000 or 3xxx series). It can be cold worked (but not, unlike some other types of aluminium alloys, heat-treated) to produce tempers with a higher strength but a lower ductility. Like most other aluminium-manganese alloys, 3003 is a general-purpose alloy with moderate ...

3004 aluminium alloy is an alloy in the wrought aluminium-manganese alloys family (3000 or 3xxx series). It is similar to the 3003 alloy , except for the addition of approximately 1% magnesium. It can be cold worked (but not, unlike some other types of aluminium alloys, heat treated ) to produce tempers with a higher strength but a lower ductility.
Aluminium–manganese alloys (AlMn alloys) are aluminium alloys that contain manganese (Mn) as the main alloying element. They consist mainly of aluminium (Al); in addition to manganese, which accounts for the largest proportion of about 1% of the alloying elements, but they may also contain small amounts of iron (Fe), silicon (Si), magnesium (Mg), or copper (Cu).
BAg-1a, AMS 4770, Easy-Flo, Easy-Flo 50, Silvaloy 50, Mattibraze 50, Silver Alloy 50. Near-eutectic. Same applications as BAg-1. Suitable for most metals, e.g. steel, stainless steel, copper, nickel and their alloys. Unsuitable for aluminium and magnesium. For ferrous, nonferrous and dissimilar alloys. Narrow melting range, no liquation.
Alclad is a heat-treated aluminium, copper, manganese, magnesium alloy that has the corrosion resistance of pure metal at the surface and the strength of the strong alloy underneath. Of particular importance is the thorough character of the union between the alloy and the pure aluminium.
The name is mainly used in pop-science to describe all Al-Cu alloys system. Aluminium–copper alloys were standardised in the 2000 series by the international alloy designation system (IADS) which was originally created in 1970 by the Aluminum Association. 2000s series includes 2014 and 2024 alloys used in airframe fabrication.
Aluminium–scandium alloys (AlSc) are aluminum alloys that consist largely of aluminium (Al) and traces of scandium (Sc) as the main alloying elements. In principle, aluminium alloys strengthened with additions of scandium are very similar to traditional nickel-base superalloys in that both are strengthened by coherent, coarsening resistant precipitates with an ordered L1 2 structure.
