Sir Assad John Haloute is a co-founder and executive director of the Chefette fast food chain in Barbados. [1] He was born in San Fernando, Trinidad and is of Syrian origin. He migrated to Barbados in 1971 and founded Chefette Restaurants one year later in 1972.
Chefette Restaurants is the largest fast food restaurant chain based in the Caribbean island nation of Barbados.Currently operating throughout the island in 14 locations, Chefette is known for its broasted chicken meals as well as a local curried-'meat + vegetable' (similar to the European gyro) roll-up or wrap, locally known as a roti.

Cliff House of Folsom was named “best new restaurant” in 1990 by Five Star Review, The Orangevale News reported at the time. The restaurant served breakfast, lunch and dinner.
